SmileSip began in Australia with dentist Dr. Angie Lang.
After decades of caring for patients, Angie kept seeing the same pattern: modern beverages were making it harder for people to win at oral health. Sugary and acidic drinks were contributing to enamel erosion, decay, dry mouth, and the slow, frustrating slide away from the healthy smile patients wanted.
So she did what dental professionals do best—she looked for a better way.
Over years of research and development, Angie helped create what would become SmileSip®: a pH-neutral, great-tasting flavored beverage designed with oral health in mind.

Across the world, in the United States, award-winning dental hygienist and oral health leader Misty Mattingly, RDH discovered SmileSip—and immediately saw the bigger story.
Misty has spent 25+ years in dentistry, education, leadership, and advocacy. She’s built her career around one belief: prevention changes lives.
To Misty, SmileSip wasn’t “a product.” It was a platform—something dental professionals could rally around to help patients make better daily choices without sacrificing convenience or enjoyment.
Misty became the original Sipster—the first to raise her hand and say, “This belongs in the USA.” Through her voice, her relationships, and her community—including the Hygiene Happy Hour podcast—she led the charge to introduce SmileSip to dental professionals across the country.
And she didn’t do it alone.
Misty has been backed by a growing circle of respected dental professionals who saw the same need, believed in the same mission, and chose to invest their energy and support into one shared goal: saving smiles.
