A journey of innovation
Dr. Angie Lang, a dentist with over 20 years of experience, developed SmileSip after repeatedly witnessing the harmful effects of sugary and acidic drinks on her patients' teeth. Despite recommending alternatives, suitable options were limited.
“Dietary sugars and acids from drinks are significant culprits behind dental decay and enamel erosion,” says Dr. Lang.
Determined to create a solution, she embarked on a decade-long journey of research and development in Los Angeles, collaborating with commercial laboratories, food scientists, and researchers.
